Up Close and Personal

Paul Arbon’s approach to photography is influenced by his time as a Horticultural Curator at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens for over 30 years, along with an appreciation for expressionist art. His use of close or blurred focusing of the lens allows the viewer to form their own interpretation of the images.

Joycie Strangio digitally merges photographs and various substrates, including gel prints, painted fabric and recycled textured canvases, to create complex layered images. This selection of images is influenced by various fibre artists, including Wen Redmond, and photographers, including Michael Kenna.
