THE BURRA ARCHIVE: DRAWING ON WALLS by Luke Thurgate
Launch at 5.30pm Saturday 1 December.

Celebrating the big picture – Luke’s drawing in the Main Gallery and your own on the wall in the Bence Room with a price on it if you wish.

Luke will be in Burra Regional Art Gallery Tuesday 20 November to Saturday 1 December. The residency will consist of busy days drawing in charcoal on the gallery walls and talking to visitors about the work. Luke has asked that small objects be brought in for inclusion in the drawing.

Written and photographic documentation will remind us of this event – the drawings will remain on the walls until 23 December when the gallery closes for summer break, the walls refreshed and the drawing gone forever.
